Due to the wide use of Internet and the development of computer technology, the Internet hes greatly affected the ways of communication. As is vividly depicted in the picture, although we are confronting the face that the Internet has posed a threat to our face-to-face contact, I still believe electronic communication cannot replace face-to-face contact.
Three reasons, I believe, can account for my argument.Firstly, expressions on people’s face play a key role in conveying people’s feelings truthfully. Judging from the expressions, People can have a better understanding about what people mean to express instead of more misunderstandings. Secondly, face-to-face contact offers a good opportunity to make a direct eye contact, which ensures the honesty of conversations. Lastly, contacting face-to-face helps parents know more about their children and facilitates parent-child relationship.
Personally, there is no denying that the Internet eliminates the barrier of distance and brings great convenience to our daily communication. But electronic communication, after all, cannot take the place of face-to-face contact.

“Would you like tea or coffee?” This is that diners are often asked. Many westerners prefer coffee while Chinese people tend to choose tea. According to a legend, it is an ancient Chinese emperor who discovered the tea five thousand years ago and used it to treat illnesses. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, tea houses were pervasive all over the country. Tea drinking was introduced into Japan in the 6th century, but it was not until the 17th century and 18th century that tea drinking was introduced into Europe and America.
